Kelly Clarkson releases ‘I’d Be Lyin,” first single of 2026

Kelly Clarkson is back with new music.
The singer-songwriter and television personality, 44, released the song “I’d Be Lyin'” on Friday.
“I’d Be Lyin'” is Clarkson’s first single of 2026 and her first new music since the 2025 single “Where Have You Been.”
In the lyrics, Clarkson sings about being “bulletproof” after a breakup, telling an ex, “You’d be wrong if I think I missed you.”
The song’s release coincides with the new dates of Clarkson’s Studio Sessions Las Vegas residency show at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
Clarkson, who originally launched the residency in July 2025, will perform shows July 17, 18, 24, 25, 31 and Aug. 1, 7, 8, 14, 15 at The Colosseum.

“I’d Be Lyin'” is expected to appear as the lead single from Clarkson’s forthcoming 11th studio album.
The singer released her most recent album, Chemistry, in 2023 following her 2020 split from her husband Brandon Blackstock.
