Months after pop star Katy Perry and actor Orlando Bloom officially announced their split, the singer has released a new breakup song.

“Bandaids,” and an accompanying music video, arrived Friday.

The music video opens with Perry doing dishes, when her wedding ring falls into the sink. When she reaches for it, the kitchen disposal turns on.

As she continues singing about her heartbreak, viewers see her get her shoelace caught in an escalator, fall from a tree, sink in quicksand, and nearly get hit by a train.

“Got so used to you letting me down, no use trying to send flowers now,” she sings. “Telling myself you’ll change, you don’t. Bandaids over a broken heart. Tried all the medications, lowered my expectations, made every justification. Bleeding out, bleeding out, bleeding out slow. Bandaids over a broken heart.”

Perry and Bloom, who coupled up in 2016, went public with their separation in July.

They share a daughter, Daisy Dove.

Perry’s new song arrives amid her world tour, The Lifetimes Tour, which concludes in Abu Dhabi Dec. 7.
