Comedian Jimmy Fallon and country music star Carter Faith have teamed up for a hilarious music video for their new “Ugly Sweater” holiday song.
Fallon plays a lonely guy who decides at the last minute to go to a Christmas party and dons a festively decorated sweater for the occasion.
Although everyone at the event is more elegantly dressed, he catches the eye of a beautiful woman.
“I was the only one in an ugly sweater, red in the face, it don’t get better,” Fallon sings. “Pretty clear I’m no trendsetter. I’m the only one in a ugly sweater.”
Faith then joins in: “You walked in and my heart just stopped. Like everything paused and the music dropped. I don’t even know if I’ve ever seen such a thing. Had more colors than a box of crayons. One sleeve longer and one sleeve neon. No one in their right mind would hand him a drink.”
But then Faith does bring him a cocktail and the two spend the evening laughing and talking with Faith ending up wearing the ugly sweater herself.
