South Korean girl group Itzy is back with new music.
The K-pop stars released the EP Motto and a music video for their song of the same name Monday.
The “Motto” video features surrealist imagery as the members of Itzy sing about their connection with fans, known as Midzy, and how it makes them feel confident and encouraged.
“Through ‘Motto,’ I really wanted to tell Midzy, who has been with Itzy all this time, how thankful we are — how they’ve become such a huge part of our lives and how Midzy itself became our motto,” Yeji said in an interview with the Korea Herald.
The Motto EP also features the tracks “Glitch,” “You and I,” “Pocket,” “Asylum,” “Look,” “Undefined” and “Tangerine.” The album is the group’s first since Tunnel Vision, released in November.
Itzy consists of Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong and Yuna. The group made its debut in 2019.
