A stage musical about country music legend Dolly Parton is set to open in New York City in December.

“The rhinestones were never the whole story,” a post on Parton’s X feed said Tuesday.

“Told in my own words and through the songs that shaped my life, DOLLY: A True Original Musical arrives in New York City this December. Fan and Capital One pre-sales begin tomorrow.”

Featuring songs like “9 to 5,” “I Will Always Love You,” “Jolene” and “Coat of Many Colors,” the show is to play at Broadway’s St. James Theatre.

Tony winner Bartlett Sher is directing the production, which features music by Parton and a script by Parton and Maria S. Schlatter.

Parton recently celebrated her 80th birthday.
