Ariana Grande is back with new music.
The singer and actress, 32, released the single “Hate That I Made You Love Me” on Friday.
In the lyrics, Grande moves on from a bitter ex who so hates “to see women endure.”
“Yeah, I, I, I / Hate that I made you love me / Sorry if I made me your type / Yeah, I, I hate that I made you love me (Hate that I made you) / ‘Cause I barely tried,” she sings.
Grande previously told fans the song is “one of my favorite songs i’ll ever write.”
“Hate That I Made You Love Me” is the first single to debut from Grande’s forthcoming eighth studio album, Petal. The album will be her first since 2024’s Eternal Sunshine and is set for release July 31.
